It’s common for people to give God a place in their lives, but it’s not always the first place. However, there are people who choose to do things differently. They put God first, ahead of their thoughts, their decisions and above every other influence. This reflects faith in action, shown not only through returning their tithes (the first 10% of all income) but also acknowledging that God must come before everything else.
If 2026 is going to be truly different, it has to begin with this principle. When God is placed first, He begins to direct every step, guide every plan and shape every decision. Faith moves beyond being just words and becomes a clear, practical way of living.
With this understanding, this Sunday, 4th January, all Universal Churches across the UK will be holding the first consecration of ‘the seconds’ of 2026. People from all parts of the country will have the chance to take part in this special moment and dedicate the very start of the year to God.
This consecration calls us to place God first and confidently trust Him to take care of the rest. Those who begin the year at the feet of the Lord Jesus take the first step towards seeing real change in every area of their lives.
Event: Consecration of the Seconds
