Don’t Count the Year Out Yet – Make the Most of the Last Month!

December

As the end of the year approaches, many people reflect on the goals they set back in January and realise that some of them remain unachieved. Important plans may have been postponed, unexpected challenges could have arisen, or life may have simply become too busy. There are also those who have fresh dreams on the horizon but are waiting for 2026 to start pursuing them, since 2025 is “practically over.”

However, even though we are indeed in the final stretch of the year, these remaining days are far more valuable than most people think. A single decision, a courageous step or a renewed commitment can open doors that have been closed for months.

Consider how many achievements in life begin with a small but decisive action: applying for a course or job, resolving a long-standing conflict, organising your finances, investing time in your faith, or finally taking a step you’ve been delaying for far too long. Significant changes often begin in short periods, especially when you act with clarity, courage, faith and direction.

Don’t underestimate what God can do either. There are examples in the Bible that illustrate how He can transform situations swiftly. For instance, when the disciples were moments away from sinking in a violent storm, Jesus stood and said, “Peace, be still!” Immediately, the wind ceased and “there was a great calm” (see Mark 4:35-41).

In God’s hands, even situations that have persisted for a long time can change dramatically in an instant. Joseph spent years forgotten in prison, yet in one day, the Lord changed everything. Pharaoh called for the prisoner, he interpreted his dream through God’s wisdom, and that very day, was promoted to be second-in-command over all of Egypt (see Genesis 41).

If you choose to act now, this last month of the year can mark the beginning of a new chapter in your life. Instead of waiting for 2026 to start, use this moment to move forward!

To support you in taking this step of faith, we invite you to join us on the first day of December for the “Monday of the Blessing for the Last Month.” We will hold the 9th Cry Out for the Walls to Fall Down and bless all attendees, determining success, direction and opportunities in this final month of the year.
