Consecration of the Good Soldiers of Christ
A good soldier takes pride in representing and fighting for his country, they are at the frontline risking their lives for others. Their uniform embodies the professionalism and commitment to their army value, loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honour, integrity, and personal courage.

A good soldier can be likened to those who volunteer their personal time to participate in one of our community groups; ROD (Rescue of Dignity), VYG (Victory Youth Group), Soup Kitchen, Beat Depression, CBC (Children’s Biblical Centre), Bookshop, Caleb, UTF (Universal Teen Force) PCG (Patient Care Group) and Temple Carers.

They are dedicated volunteers who have received help to overcome their personal struggles and desire to do the same for others.

This Sunday we will consecrate the group members during our Sunday morning service at 10am, each group will come wearing their uniform on this special day. This consecration will give each of them more capacity to reach out to those who need help through their group responsibility – because together we are stronger!

“No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” (2 Timothy 2:4)

If you would like to join one of our community groups you can find out more information on how to join after the 10am service.
