Battling the Unseen

Invisible Enemy

Life will always present visible challenges, such as daily conflicts, family issues, health problems and financial setbacks – just to name a few. However, many people are unaware that negative, unseen forces often lie beneath these common problems, subtly influencing our thoughts, relationships, and overall well-being, sowing confusion, fear, division and despair.

While this idea may seem controversial to some, it is important to recognise that these negative forces can affect any aspect of a person’s life. Many individuals have faced persistent problems despite taking every possible physical measure, yet still, found no resolution. There are also inexplicable setbacks that occur when everything seems fine, defying all logic.

The truth is that there is an invisible spiritual battle taking place at all times, and only spiritual weapons can guarantee victory over this negativity. This is where faith and prayer become essential.

For centuries, prayer has been a cornerstone of spiritual practice, providing solace, hope and a connection to the Most High. Beyond its spiritual significance, researchers have investigated its measurable effects, and numerous studies suggest that prayer can positively impact individuals’ lives.

According to Psychology Today, prayer is associated with reduced stress, anxiety and negative emotions, often serving as a coping mechanism that offers support and a sense of control during challenging times.

Neuroscientific research supports these findings, showing that practices such as prayer and meditation can activate the brain’s frontal lobe, enhancing focus and compassion. This activation is linked to physiological benefits, including lower blood pressure, reduced heart rate and decreased levels of anxiety and depression.

In a noisy world, prayer acts as a powerful whisper that can bring about clarity, tranquillity, purpose, and complete deliverance from any negative force harming your life. With this in mind, every Friday we are holding the 7 Prayers for a Complete Spiritual Cleansing. Each week focuses on a different area of life, and this week’s prayer will be dedicated to your health and well-being.

Join us at your nearest Universal Church to receive this powerful prayer and understand how you can use faith as a complement to any medical treatment you may be receiving, being spiritually empowered to confidently fight against any health issues you may be facing.
