Jesus’ very first miracle took place at a wedding in Cana. The festivities had been ticking along nicely when suddenly, the hosts ran out of wine—something that would bring shame to the family. In a panic, the servants brought the matter to Mary who in turn asked the Lord for help.
After their exchange came the instructions to the servants: “Fill the waterpots with water” and then “draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast” (John 2.7-8). The servants did as the Lord directed and just like that, the water became wine. Not just any wine mind you, the best wine!
There is no doubt that God wants to perform a transformation miracle in the lives of those who believe. He wants to take our broken lives from water and turn it into the best wine but the key to seeing this happen lies in these words: ‘Whatever He says to you, do it” (John 2.5).
The secret to your miracle/blessings is simple: obedience!
Throughout the next six Sundays, we invite you to participate in our Sunday morning service where there will be something unique that God will speak to you.
At your local Universal Church, you can collect a booklet where you can write down personal lessons from the service as a reminder to use your faith and act upon the direction of the Holy Spirit from Sunday to Sunday.
