The weekend is almost here, and with it comes another opportunity to strengthen your faith, connect with others, and take part in events designed to make a real difference in your life and in the lives of those around you.
Whether you are looking to grow spiritually, support your local community or be part of something inspiring, there’s plenty happening across the Universal Church UK this weekend.
Saturday 4th July
Collective Fast of Purpose
Have you ever found yourself doing something without really knowing why? It’s easy to go through life without a clear purpose, but when we know where we are heading, everything changes.
The Word of God says: “You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)
This Saturday, join us for the Collective Fast of Purpose. Come with a clear purpose and as we put God first and seek His guidance, we find the peace and direction we have been searching for.
We invite you to take part in a food fast, but always follow your doctor’s advice if you have any medical conditions.
Time:Â 7am
Location:Â Your local Universal Church
Plaistow Community Care Day
Sometimes, a helping hand can make all the difference. Our Community Care Day in Plaistow this Saturday offers a range of free services for anyone who could use a little extra support.
Visitors can receive our food parcels, enjoy a free haircut, have their blood pressure checked, access our clothing bank, receive practical advice and even take time to relax with a little pampering.
If you know someone who would benefit, bring them along. Everyone is welcome.
Time:Â 11am
Location:Â 1 St Andrew’s Road, London E13 8QD
IntelliMen Football Tournament
Following an action-packed tournament across our London branches, where Brixton secured the title, it’s now the turn of our branches outside London to compete.
The youths and over 30’s representing branches from Glasgow all the way to Plymouth, will gather in Nottingham for what promises to be an exciting day of football, teamwork and determination.
Fourteen branches will battle it out for the title, but only one will lift the trophy. Who will come out on top?
Time:Â 1pm
Location:Â Powerleague Nottingham Arnold, Gedling Road, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 6NZ
Sunday 5th July
Sunday of Restoration
Half the year may have gone, but God is not finished with your story. Perhaps this year has not gone as you hoped or maybe you are believing for a breakthrough. Whatever you are facing, this Sunday’s service is an opportunity to place your trust in God and experience the restoration that only He can bring.
Join us at your nearest Universal Church and start the second half of the year with renewed hope.
Time:Â 10am (also at 7:30am)
Location:Â Your local Universal Church
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our services or events. Bring your family, invite a friend and come expecting great things. Your weekend could be the start of something truly life-changing.
