Volunteers of Universal Church give warmth to patients and NHS Staff

The cold wasn’t going to keep the willing volunteers of the Universal Church away from giving warmth to patients and NHS staff this winter.

Aiming to warm the hearts of patients and staff in British hospitals, the Universal Church volunteers carried out visits during the month of December nationwide.

More than 50 volunteers visited different hospitals in London taking supportive cards, baskets of sweets, toys, books and chocolates.

Among patients and nurses, more than 670 people benefited from this.

“It was an emotional moment and it made them feel special. Everyone was very happy and thanked us for our visit”, said Pastor David Nzuruba who oversees the UCKG community outreach groups.
