True False

The world is full of popular sayings and proverbs. Some are so religious that they directly contradict the Word of God but are believed to be true.

Take a look at a few examples:

1 – ‘We are all God’s children.’ True or false?

FALSE: look at what the Word of God says:

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1: 12-13

2 – ‘All paths lead to God.’ True or false?

FALSE: look at what the Word of God says:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

3 – ‘Where the name of God is, there He will be present.’ True or false?

FALSE: look at what the Word of God says:

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20

4 – ‘Little is much when God is in it.’ True or false?

FALSE: look at what the Word of God says:

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

5 – ‘God may be tardy, but He does not fail or false?

FALSE: look at what the Word of God says:

The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay… 2 Peter 3:9 HCSB

In light of the above, we see that, unfortunately, people live under a blanket of lies that are always reinforced by many emotions.

However, this does not apply to us as we do not live in a religious or emotional way but by intelligent faith.
