No one visits the doctors without a cause, what brought you there could have been persistent pain and discomfort. In the hope of finding a solution, you visit the doctors to receive the advice and guidance you need in order to be problem free.
But what happens when the pain is far greater than what meets the eye, when the pain is within the soul; anger, resentment, loneliness, feeling sad, insecure, etc? Where shall one go to heal the soul?
The Bible says: “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.” (Isaiah 53:4)
Presented as a sacrifice, Jesus took upon Himself the pain of humanity so that you don’t have it. The only way to be free from this pain is to surrender it to God Himself through faith.
