The Lord’s Supper of Let There be Light

the glory of God,

The Lord’s Supper of Let There be Light

Light is a guide in the darkness, it brings clarity and guidance, God Himself knew the importance of the use of light since it was amongst the few things that were created in the beginning of creation:

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)

With light in existence, everything else afterwards was created, otherwise it would not have been possible.

If light was important for the form of creation how much more is it important for our lives today?

The light we refer to comes from the Holy Spirit (God) which is His character formed in us.

Maybe in your faith you feel like you have been in the dark, clouded with doubt and guilt but God wants to outshine this darkness in you, or maybe you have never experienced God’s light before and want to.

Imagine having the Creator of light in you, shining through your actions and reactions this is why we invite you to partake in the Lord’s Supper of Let There be Light, taking place at your local Universal Church, Wednesday, 26 October at 7.30pm (also at 7am, 10am and 3pm).

“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)
