Make the Second Half Count

Make it count

Do you remember just declaring a happy new year to your peers, family and friends?

We are in the middle of the year, so it’s time to reflect on the goals that have been set, met and yet to achieve.

An article published by Maybusch, shared tips on how to set yourself up for a great second half of the year:

  • Celebrate your wins: Reflect on and celebrate your “wins” so far. Since it’s natural to think of all the shortcomings and pit falls of the year, bring to the forefront of your mind what you have achieved so far this year. This will give you the motivation to achieve even more in the second half.
  • Identify your second-half wins: Looking ahead to the rest of the year, think about ways to approach it with positivity. A great way to do that is to identify the three “wins” you want to have in the second half of the year.
  • Create the conditions for your success: Having identified your future wins, it’s then about creating the conditions for your success. This means doing the planning and preparation now to make it easy for you to execute later.

Plan, think and act to make the second half of the year count even more than the first but don’t do it alone. This Sunday we invite you to put God first and He will place you first in all that you do.
