IntelliMen Football League Grand Final: Football, Faith and a Mission to Help Ukraine

News 1

The IntelliMen Football Project offers a structured league competition designed to create a safe and positive environment for men to develop their faith, character, discipline and leadership skills through sport.

With this vision at its core, the IntelliMen Project recently launched the IntelliMen Football League, a new initiative created to bring men together through the beautiful game.

From March to May, men from across London have stepped onto the pitch for an eight-match series that blends healthy competition with personal growth. The football has been intense, the commitment has been undeniable and the atmosphere has been electric. Yet beyond the tackles, goals and scorelines, something far deeper has been taking place.260315 KENNINGTON PARK 025

The league forms part of the wider IntelliMen Project, a practical programme built around 52 weekly challenges that encourage men to grow in all areas of life, including family, finances, discipline and personal character. It is a hands-on approach that pushes participants to step outside their comfort zones and take ownership of their lives.

On the pitch, teamwork, resilience and focus are tested with every sprint and every pass. Off the pitch, those same qualities help men face daily life with greater clarity, strength and purpose.

Now, the Grand Final is finally approaching.

On Sunday, 25 May, the IntelliMen Football League Grand Final will take place at Dagenham & Redbridge Stadium. It will be a special day for everyone involved, with both the youth final and the men’s final taking place as part of this unforgettable event.260315 KENNINGTON PARK 030

This is the first IntelliMen Football League, and it has already been a tremendous blessing. Week after week, the men have not only enjoyed football, but have also learned, grown and strengthened one another. The final will be more than just a match — it will be a celebration of progress, unity, discipline and faith.

Families, friends and supporters are invited to come and be part of this special day. The atmosphere promises to be exciting, and the event will be a memorable occasion for the men, the youth and everyone attending.

But this Grand Final will also have a greater purpose.

As the devastating situation in Ukraine continues, so does the urgent need for humanitarian support. Many families are still facing hardship, displacement and difficulty accessing basic necessities such as food, healthcare, education and employment.

For this reason, the IntelliMen Football League Grand Final will also support a humanitarian appeal for Ukraine. Those attending are invited to exchange their ticket for a suggested donation of 10kg of non-perishable food items, which can be brought to your local Universal Church.

These donations will help support those who are still suffering because of the ongoing war. Suggested items include long-life food products such as rice, pasta, tinned food, flour, sugar, cooking oil, biscuits and other non-perishable essentials.

All items will be carefully packed and prepared for departure to Ukraine. The donations will arrive at the Universal Church in Kyiv, where they will be distributed to those who need them most.

This is an opportunity to enjoy a powerful day of football while also making a real difference in the lives of people who urgently need support.
