Don’t Let Financial Difficulties Steal Your Peace

Financial Struggles 1
Money worries have become an everyday reality for millions of people across the UK. While many households are managing rising costs, a growing number are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with bills, credit repayments and essential living expenses.

Recent figures from Citizens Advice show that more than 400,000 people sought help with debt problems in 2025, a rise of nearly 45% compared with 2021. The charity also reported that the average debt owed by those seeking support had climbed to around £8,900.

These statistics highlight the growing financial pressures facing individuals and families across the country. Citizens Advice warns that millions of people are living on what it describes as a “financial knife edge,” with little or no financial buffer should unexpected expenses arise. Research found that more than 7.5 million people would struggle to cope if their monthly bills increased by just £20.

Financial difficulties rarely impact only a person’s bank account. The pressure of mounting debts and unpaid bills can affect family life, relationships, mental wellbeing and even physical health.

Many people find themselves lying awake at night, worrying about debts, unexpected expenses, or how they will cover the next month’s costs. The pressure can feel overwhelming, especially when there seems to be no immediate solution in sight.

In moments like these, you can turn to faith for strength, guidance and hope. Even when circumstances appear uncertain, faith reminds us that no situation is beyond God’s power to change.

This Monday, 8th June, the Prosperity with God meeting will hold a special ‘Cry Out for Those Facing Financial Difficulties.’ This meeting is for anyone who is struggling financially and wants to seek God’s help. Whether you are dealing with debt, unemployment, business challenges, financial uncertainty or simply feeling overwhelmed by the rising cost of living, this meeting is an opportunity to place your concerns before God in prayer.

There will also be the anointing of vehicles, where attendees can dedicate their vehicles and daily journeys to God for His protection and blessing.

Through faith, you will have the chance to seek God’s direction, trusting Him to open doors and provide solutions where no answers seem possible.

While headlines may focus on economic challenges, faith encourages us to look beyond our present circumstances. No matter how challenging the situation may seem today, there is always hope when we place our trust in God.

Join us this Monday with the confidence to believe that, with God’s help, a new chapter is possible and leave with renewed faith, fresh hope and the peace that financial difficulties cannot steal.
