No one wants to feel insecure and uncertain of their future but when a person allows God to be their ultimate guide He will give them inner confidence that His word will be fulfilled for their life now and eternal life to come.
Do you want to put God first?
There is no better to put God first than participating in the Lord’s Supper. He gave His life for your life in a direct exchange.
The Holy Communion is a way for people to put God first. The grape juice represents the blood of the Lord Jesus, which frees us from all curses, and the bread represents His flesh, which was sacrificed on the cross. Thus, those who participate in this special ceremony have an opportunity to know God on a personal level. The Son of God said: “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35).
Do you remember in school how the majority fought to be at the top? Everyone wants to be first. Therefore, ‘being second’ is something that conflicts with our human desire to be first. However, if you understand this proposal that God Himself makes, you will understand that the best thing you can aspire to be in life is second, because you choose to put God first.
We don’t know what the future holds and the day of tomorrow isn’t promised, but when we put God first we gain confidence that all will be well.
