We all like good news, don’t we?
There’s something uplifting about hearing that things are working in our favour—like getting a promotion at work, receiving an unexpected tax refund, having a bill reduced, or seeing your debt cleared. But, let’s be honest, for many people, especially when it comes to finances, it often feels like the bad news just never stops.
Have you become so used to bad news in your financial life that you now expect it? To the point where you avoid opening letters in case it’s another bill or final demand? Does your stomach turn when the phone rings? You ignore emails, maybe even feel anxious about stepping outside, just in case today’s the day the landlord knocks.
You start living in constant fear, expecting the worst and viewing everything through a negative lens.
However, this is not the life God intended for you. Despite how things may seem, good news does come. How, you may ask? The Bible says that if we ask, God will give us the wisdom to come out of our situation (James 1:5).
So, do you want the good news?

It’s an opportunity to use your faith and determine that you will receive the answer you’ve been searching for. Maybe you’ve tried everything else and nothing has changed. But what if this Monday could be the start of something different?
