Do you count sheep to sleep?

Everyone can agree that a good night’s sleep is refreshing.

It is thanks to sleep that we can enhance memory and attention, restore physical and mental energy, improve mood and even control our appetite.

That’s right, the less we sleep, the more likely we are to cope. For example, when stressed we increase the chances of feeding irrational hunger, which is almost always satisfied with sugars and carbohydrates. Poor sleep even increases the risk of childhood obesity!

In short, sleep is a pillar for health. According to Monica Andersen, director of teaching and research at the Sleep Institute, “sleep represents a third of our lives”, which in itself indicates how indispensable it is.

Monica states that sleep has several functions in our body, the main one being internal balance, also called homeostasis. “If we lose the main factor that leads us to internal balance, the consequences will come like a cascade. Sleep is the main measure of our well-being.”

However, the reality shows that sleeping is a constant problem for many. The numbers are shocking, and show that two thirds (67%) of adults in the UK struggle with disrupted sleep.

Managing this issue has been a major challenge for many, which cannot be resolved simply by counting sheep.

So, what could be the root behind such an evil in so many people’s lives, which only continues to spread rapidly?

Find out what is behind many recurring and chronic problems at your nearest Universal Church this Friday for the “7 Fridays of the Bread of Revelation”. You will receive a piece of bread which has been dipped in grape juice, based on the event in the Word of God, when Jesus revealed who would betray Him:

“Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.” (John 13:26 NKJV)

During the meeting, you will receive a prayer of deliverance and learn how to fight against your problems using spiritual tools. Come with an open heart and God will reveal His power in your life.
