Have you ever faced a problem that completely shook your world? Perhaps you trusted someone who let you down or experienced a financial setback that left you feeling lost. Maybe you’ve lost a loved one, leaving you feeling as though the ground has been pulled from beneath your feet. For some, life may appear to be going well on the surface, yet their spiritual life and communion with God are profoundly shaken.
If this resonates with you, the Bible offers a message of comfort: “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.” (Psalm 125:1-2).
Located in the southwestern part of the Old City of Jerusalem, Mount Zion is seen as a symbol of stability, representing God’s presence with His people and the unshakable faith that comes from Him. In the same way, those who trust in God shall not be moved.
God is the only one capable of keeping us steadfast when everything around us seems uncertain, whether we are facing material, emotional, or spiritual challenges. If you feel shaken due to a problem or situation, this Sunday, 9 March, may be the perfect opportunity for a transformative change.
We will continue with the Blessing of the 7 Gates of Jerusalem and this time we will focus exactly on the Zion Gate, which is situated near Mount Zion and symbolises stability, security, and confidence. Don’t miss this chance to regain your balance and strength through the power of faith by placing your trust in the Almighty. Join us at your nearest Universal Church.
