This Sunday, 9 February, we will start the new purpose of the “Blessing of the 7 Gates of Jerusalem”, which you can read more about by clicking here.
The first gate we will focus on is the Jaffa Gate. Located on the western side of the Old City walls, it is one of the main historic Jerusalem gates and has played a key role in the city’s history due to its strategic location.
Facing west, the Jaffa Gate served as the primary entrance for merchants and traders from various nations arriving in the city by sea. It was a vital point where wealth flowed into Jerusalem. In the same spirit, we will determine by faith that those who need open doors in their finances will experience the abundant blessings of God.
“Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, and their kings in procession.” (Isaiah 60:11)
