Are God’s Promises Really True?

Testing the Word of God

The best way to determine if something is positive and legitimate is to test it. To know if a food is tasty, we need to taste it; to know if a device works as advertised, we need to try it; to find out if a city or country is as beautiful as people say it is, we need to visit it. The same principle applies to the Word of God.

The Bible contains over 8,000 positive promises covering all areas of life. God is committed to acting in favour of those who are faithful and obedient to Him, providing all we need for a fulfilling life. However, many people – including some of those who believe – have not yet seen these promises materialise. This often leads them to wonder, “Are all these promises really true?” There’s only one way to know it: by testing them.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” (Psalm 34:8)

Many have already tasted the bitterness of evil through problems, health issues, addictions, and other negative circumstances. If that’s your case, we invite you to test the Word of God and taste the sweet blessings He has prepared for us.

It’s a two-way street: for God to prove that He is alive and can transform your life, you must also demonstrate your belief in Him through your actions. One of the best ways to do this is by leaving your home to join us at your nearest Universal Church this Sunday morning.

It will be a day to test the word of God and see that He is good! During the service, we will also have the consecration of the seconds and seek the Holy Spirit, which is the greatest of all divine promises.

Event: Sunday to Test the Word of God
Date and Time: Sunday, 2 February at 10am (also at 7.30am)
Location: At your nearest Universal Church
