Turkey and Russia discussed a possible intervention in the city of Afrin, Syria.
The information was supplied by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at a press conference, who, on November 13 last, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin to assess the international scenario and the crisis in Syria.
End of Times?
Some biblical scholars believe that in the End Times there will be a final world war known as “Armageddon” – an event that will come after the Rapture of the Church.
Part of the biblical basis for this belief is in Ezekiel 38, in which the prophet describes a movement of armies, formed by various peoples, towards Israel.
“According to them, the third war will be spearheaded by the Antichrist, leading the federation of ten kingdoms against Russia and her allies. This will occupy Israel and the surrounding lands, in order to put an end to the continuous conflict between Arabs and Israelis”, writes Bishop Edir Macedo in the book “Study of the Apocalypse”.
The bishop adds that this is just a possibility of future events, but that, in fact – in the period of the Apocalypse – humanity will have great reasons to reflect on its misconduct before the Creator .
