How do you react when things don’t go as you planned? Do you accept that this is something impossible or do you do everything in your power to change that situation? Do you run or fight?

Jordan Kinyera from Uganda chose the first option. He studied and trained for 18 years to become a lawyer and deal with the injustice brought about by an incident that happened in his childhood.

Jordan was just six years old when his father lost his land in a legal dispute, and it changed his life. He told the BBC that his decision to become a barrister was inspired by the events he witnessed as a child, as well as the circumstances and frustrations his family faced during the court case.

After qualifying and building skills, Kinyera took on her family’s court case and they won the case.

Some might say that he took things too far and that he didn’t need to have studied so many years and become a lawyer to solve that case, but if he had depended on other people instead of going the extra mile, he wouldn’t be feeling the satisfaction that are feeling now.

As a result of the attitude he took, now everything is resolved and that case is no longer a problem for him and his family. He didn’t accept the unacceptable and that made all the difference!

True anger generates positive actions, and those actions, in turn, generate results. Your situation will never change if you don’t rise up to the point of doing something about it. But unfortunately, many don’t think so and think there’s nothing they can do, when in reality, there is. You may not even know what to do, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t options.

We can help you discover an inner strength that you may not know exists within you: the power of faith. This power is within all of us, and when we use it intelligently, it gives us the strength to fight for our lives and change things that are wrong.

Let us help you tap into that power. Join our online meetings through YouTube
