Silent moment with God

Are you Separating Time to Seek God Daily?

Did you know that Jesus regularly withdrew to spend time alone with God?

Even though He was perfect and without sin, He still made time for solitude and prayer. If Jesus, who needed neither correction or forgiveness saw the importance of being alone with the Father, how much more should we?

A true relationship with God is nurtured in private. It’s in those quiet moments that spiritual strength begins to grow.

As Jesus taught: “…When you pray, go into your room, shut the door, and pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” (Matthew 6:6)

Prayer is one way to seek God, but many of the Psalms in the Bible were originally written as songs. These sacred texts can be meditated on not just by reading them, but also through singing them. For centuries, people have turned to the Psalms for personal devotion and worship.
