Quem quer ser um milionário?

Congresso Para o Sucesso, história de um jovem pobre, por muitos anos, por todo Reino Unido,

Who wouldn’t want to be rich, financially successful in order to be able to give the best to their family and enjoy the good things in life, comfortably, far from deprivation and misery? The above question may make a portion of people remember the movie Slumdog Millionaire, released in 2008 and called in Brazil Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The cinematographic production tells the story of a poor young man in India who, after spending a childhood of extreme poverty, becomes a millionaire by winning a question and answer contest on a popular television program.

However, far from works of fiction, reality is different and perhaps offers a chance like this to very few. Bishop Edir Macedo, in his blog of his, has already spoken repeatedly about the issue of being rich and pointed the way. So that we can understand better, he uses the example of Abraham, a great biblical hero who achieved prosperity: “At no time do we read in the Bible that he spoke of God to people or that he was a man involved in social works. The very character of God in him could be seen by those who knew him,” he reckons.

According to the Bishop, Abraham’s life already attracted attention, starting with the love aspect. “He was happily married. Even though he was initially childless, Abraham was faithful to Sarah and loved her dearly. Abraham was a prosperous man, even in the middle of the desert and as a pilgrim for many years . Even before he had a descendant, he was thriving. His servants willingly served him. His life was a light that shone on the mountain, only those who did n’t want to see it did n’t see it. That’s how people started wanting to see who Abraham was, what his good works were, and who his God was,” he explains.

It is there, according to the Bishop, that lies the key to this success so desired by many. “Our light has to be on high, where it can shine and, consequently, everyone can see it. It is not in the religion you profess or the denomination you belong to. It is not in the good works you do, for before them the light shines. It’s not inside you. For people to see it, it needs to happen on the outside, as our inside cannot be seen by men, only by God ”, he explains.

Who can be blessed?

In the Help Center , it is agreed that the blessings achieved by Abraham can be obtained by anyone. That vision is shared in meetings that take place in centers across the UK .
