Have you ever felt as though you’re trying to move forward, yet something keeps holding you back? You make changes, you stay positive, and you tell yourself things will improve, but the same heaviness, struggles or inner battles remain. This Friday, 23rd January, the Universal Church invites you to a special meeting designed to help you break that cycle and experience true spiritual renewal.
This service is part of a Chain of Prayer, Seven Fridays of Spiritual Cleansing with 7 Blessed Waters. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring a bottle of water. During the meeting, a drop of consecrated seawater will be added to it as an act of faith, representing cleansing and a fresh start.
Over time, life can quietly leave its mark on us. Emotional pain, disappointments, negative patterns and unanswered questions can build up without us noticing. Many people try to deal with these burdens alone, but this meeting offers a different approach — one that focuses on faith and the decision to release what no longer belongs in your life.
This is reflected in the powerful symbolism of the sea. Constantly in motion, it does not retain what is lifeless; instead, it washes it away. In the same way, this meeting reminds us that true renewal means letting go.
The Bible affirms this promise in Ezekiel 36:25: “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean…” These words speak of purification, restoration, and a new beginning.
For this reason, you will be guided to use the Blessed Water in faith, not for drinking but by sprinkling it upon yourself, symbolising spiritual cleansing and a start of a new chapter.
