Milton Santos and Ayooluwabami Adebayo

Milton and Ayooluwabami met at the Love Walk in September 2024, after being introduced by a pastor. For Ayooluwabami, it was unexpected as she had not planned to speak to anyone and had to surrender that mindset to God. At a previous Love Walk, she had just stood there with friends. But after attending the Love Therapy seminars and investing in her love life, she was ready to take a step of faith. So, when the pastor mentioned someone wanted to talk to her, she agreed.

Milton’s first impression was that Ayooluwabami was beautiful. He was nervous at first, but was relieved the booklet had questions to help guide the conversation, allowing him to relax and open up. Ayooluwabami thought Milton was very tall and a little shy but expressive. She saw that he was a man of God —something that was very important to her. She had always wanted someone strong in faith who could support her spiritually. Over time, she saw how hardworking and supportive Milton was, especially during difficult moments.

Milton began to notice that Ayooluwabami was very responsible — she takes her commitments seriously. She’s close to her family and has a caring and contagious personality that makes him want to be around her. He admires her transparency and he believes will be a real strength in their relationship moving forward. Although they come from different cultural backgrounds, he’s confident that they can overcome any differences together.

To anyone struggling in their love life, they would say: focus on developing yourself. Learn to trust that things can change — but for that to happen, you need to take a step of faith. It’s easy to let past disappointments and fear hold you back from investing in their love life, but they encourage others not to give up. “Keep investing, keep believing — because God works through faith, and He will honour that. Surrender your own will and what you think is best, and allow God to choose what’s truly best for you.”
