You Can Make a Difference!
We are aware of the struggles our members and the broader community are experiencing, so every Saturday we offer open-to-the-public Food Banks or Soup Kitchens across our branches.

These initiatives are kept running by volunteers and donations. You can support our work by donating one or more of the following items: cans of fruit, vegetables, beans, soups, cereal, pasta, rice, lentils, tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit juice or UHT (long-life) milk. We understand times are tough for a lot of people, but a little can go a long way!

Our Food Banks are open from 11am and until 1pm every Saturday in our participating branches: Plaistow, Edmonton, Stamford Hill, Croydon, Hackney, Stratford, Tooting, Nottingham, Sheffield, Lozells, Bullring, Wood Green, Hammersmith and Newcastle. Every week, our volunteers prepare handy packages with different items the night before.

Our Soup Kitchens also operate every Saturday, from 11am until 1pm. Participating branches provide soup, bread and light refreshments to anyone in need. At the moment, we have eight branches that operate a weekly Soup Kitchen: Finsbury Park, Catford, Kilburn, Peckham, Leeds, Manchester, Peterborough and Glasgow. Full addresses available at uckg.org/addresses.
