What if all your debts could be written off?
Almost 27 million, which equates to more than half of the UK adult population headed into 2020 with debts hanging over their head, with almost 5 million owing over £10k in credit and loans, according to a poll conducted by money.co.uk. They polled over 2,000 people aged between 16-64 living in the UK. Nearly a fifth admitted their debt was over 10k – that’s 4.8 million people sitting burdened with this high level of debt.

Anyone whose had bailiffs knocking at their door will know how acutely distressing the whole experience can be. I’m sure all those surveyed would welcome the news that their debt had been paid in full. Well, we have good news for you! What if we were to tell you that this is possible and all your debts could be written off?

Anyone can get into debt and there’s loads of debt solutions out there. But, sometimes it takes a bit of help to get out of it. Jesus, was the only one who paid the price in full for all our debts. He was our help and still is today. Jesus’ finished work on the cross marks the beginning of a new life and salvation for all those who believe. This is what makes Good Friday so good and the reason why we are inviting you to experience this goodness by choosing to stand up against the problems in your life.

Celeste Mbwese, attended this exact event where she was invited to nail her problems to the cross. Celeste was sexually assaulted by a family member, rejected by her family, had abusive relationships and even tried to end her life. However, she realised that Jesus took away all her pain, so that she did not have to suffer anymore. Now, she is free from her past, no longer suicidal and is looking forward to building a family of her own.

Since a young child, Alimamy Kanu was brought to the Universal Church by his mother. He attended for many years and never took it seriously. After hearing the life transformation of someone else, he chose to experience the power of God in his own life. Although it was difficult, he fought hard and was finally able to break free from pornography and the impossible concept of being happy in his love life. Today, he is no longer held back by his past and is now a happily married family-man.

Well they say, mothers know best and Prima Kazooba can now agree that the best invitation she accepted in her life was when her mother invited her to the Universal Church. Spending 5 years in prison, today Prima is free both physically and mentally. She no longer just accepts whatever she is given to experience a sense of approval, belonging and security. Prima now uses the power of faith to fight back and overcome all her problems.
