VYG and Police Officers Joining Forces for Charity Football Match
The Metropolitan Police recognises the importance of the VYG (Victory Youth Group) and the two have joined forces on different occasions, including during a huge march against knife crime in 2019 and a weapon sweep in Peckham where VYG members volunteered to help police officers to search for disposed-of knives and guns.

For the first time, youths and police officers will get together for a charity sports event. The “Life’s Worth Living Football Match” will take place on Sunday, 7 November at the New River Sports Centre, White Hart Lane, Wood Green, N22 5QW. Click here to find out more about the event.

The “Life’s Worth Living” project is an initiative run by the VYG. It was born out of a need to raise awareness of the growing trends in gun and knife crime in the UK, particularly amongst teens and young adults. Tickets for the event cost £10 and all funds raised will be invested in the charity work of the group. For more information about how to get your tickets, please call or WhatsApp us on 020 7686 6000.

Don’t miss this opportunity to watch this exciting match and to find out more about the work of the VYG, which has equipped thousands of youths nationwide with the knowledge and tools to turn around the negative circumstances in their lives.
