Before the Love Walk, Troy and Taynika had never met. She was living in Nottingham and he was in Manchester. Their paths had never crossed until the Love Walk in 2022. They both attended, and as they walked past each other in the park, their eyes met. Troy asked Taynika if she would go on the Love Walk with him, and she happily said yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their conversation lasted 45 minutes and flowed naturally. They connected quickly \u2014 their interests, goals, and values were all aligned. At the end of the walk, she asked if they could take their first photo together, and he passed the confidence test by happily saying yes. That moment marked the beginning of something special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troy and Taynika truly believe that the Love Walk is a powerful opportunity to meet people from different places, have meaningful conversations and potentially find a life partner \u2014 just like they did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2024, shortly after their wedding, they took part in the Love Walk once more \u2014 this time as part of their honeymoon. But this walk wasn\u2019t about finding someone, but about growing together as husband and wife. The questions in the leaflet helped them reflect deeply, connect more, and think about how they wanted to build their future as a couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their advice to all the singles attending the Love Walk this year is: don\u2019t be shy. Be confident, and always have a welcoming smile. You never know who you might meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
