The Physical and the Spiritual Mother

Mothers DayThis Sunday, 27 March, Mother’s Day is celebrated in the United Kingdom. This is a date where people usually take some quality time to spend with their mums and show how much they appreciate them, after all, a mother is someone who normally takes care of their children, gives them love and is present in the best and worst moments of their lives, acting as a friend, counsellor and even teacher.

Spiritually, the Church also plays the role of Mother for everyone who comes to Her. All those who enter the doors of the Universal Church are welcomed and cherished, regardless of their past mistakes or wrong choices. We are here to help you throughout your worst times and to celebrate your best moments with you. We are here to support, advise and teach you how to make the best of your life, based on the Word of God.

Our doors are open every day and we have daily services focused on different areas of your life, so we can support you with whatever needs you may have. This Sunday we will have a very special service with the presence of Bishop Edir Macedo, founder of the Universal Church, in his first missionary visit to the UK in over a decade. There is no greatest gift you can give your mother than God’s blessing, so why not invite her to join you on this amazing day?

Maybe you are thinking, “I don’t have a mother figure in my life… so this is not for me.” We can assure you that this is absolutely for you as well! Even if you don’t have a physical mother around, and you feel despised and rejected, know that we are with open arms to welcome you, share a word of faith with you and determine God’s blessings upon your life. Join us this Sunday, 27 March, 10am at the Rainbow Theatre (with Bishop Macedo).
