On Sunday afternoon at the Rainbow Theatre, hundreds of women from London gathered to participate in the Godllywood Self-Help meeting.
This year the Godllywood group have held various meetings to help inspire women to become better mothers, daughter, sisters, friends, employees, and servants of God. These meetings help cater to all areas of their life making them to be positive role models.
This meeting was the last for this year and it indeed left a mark for any present. Mrs Helena, who oversees the Godllywood work in the UK, touched on an important subject that many could relate to, which was success in your life is a result of the way you see things.
Culture, education, religion, ideology, and trauma are amongst many things that can shape the way we see things, however if we want to change the way we have seen things we have to be born of God:
“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)
It’s only when we become born of God can we see as God sees, this meeting emphasised the importance of having a true relationship with God.

“It reminded me so much of who I was and how God can transform a person. All the ideologies I had, all the things I thought I was doing for my best interest were never actually good for me, at the end of the day it was all a facade to cover up all suffering that I had gone through. I have no words to explain how important this meeting was and how thankful I am to God for the wonderful way He keeps molding me!”
