Reddit and the proposal

February is almost upon us; the month that brings with it an abundance of marriage proposals is just around the corner. With Valentine’s Day a few weeks away, love is most certainly in the air.

Surrounded by only rose petals and with the Brooklyn Bridge in their view, a man proposed to his girlfriend. The ground beneath their feet had been decorated with rose petals and lit with candles. As he held a bunch of roses, his soon-to-be fiancée admired him with love and joy.

The stranger who took this picture later posted it on Reddit, hoping to share the photo with the couple. The picture accumulated a great deal of attention and, hours later, the newly engaged man replied: ‘I can’t believe this! This is my engagement! I can’t wait to show her this, thank you Reddit!’
