The film \u201cAnaconda\u201d was very successful in the 1990s. With artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Ice Cube in the cast, the work talks about <\/span><\/span>a group of people<\/span><\/span><\/a> who find themselves trapped on a boat in Manaus, in the heart of the Amazon. <\/span>There, they fight to survive against a giant snake that became known as “anaconda”.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The snake in the film is 12 meters long and has enormous strength, being able to devour several people in a short period of time. <\/span>In real life, a snake like this is, on average, 8 meters long as an adult. <\/span>Although not venomous, it is very strong and its bite can seriously injure a person. <\/span>As an aquatic species, the anaconda is very fast and tends to drown its prey by holding it underwater.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Young Carlos Andrade, on a walk along the Amazonian river, Nhamund\u00e1 stayed, not caring about the data above. <\/span>Upon seeing the 5-meter snake, he approached and, not noticing the animal’s reaction, decided to pose for a selfie <\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/em>The image was posted and went viral on social networks this week, generating admiration from thousands of people who liked and shared the image. <\/span>Carlos was in the municipality of Nhamund\u00e1, 375 kilometers from the capital, Manaus, but the photo, on the internet, won the whole world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fortunately, the boy was not hurt when invading the anaconda’s territory, but the risk he took was great. <\/span>Although she didn’t move at the time, she is very quick to strike and the desire to publish that photo could have taken the boy’s life.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Attitudes like these reveal the unhealthy need to be approved by other people. <\/span>Anyone who takes pictures putting their lives on the line for popularity is actually putting their own happiness in other people’s hands. <\/span>If the photos are successful on the internet, they will be happy. <\/span>If they don’t, they will be sad. <\/span>This \u201chappiness\u201d, however, only lasts <\/span><\/span>for a short time<\/span><\/span><\/a> . <\/span>Soon the image is forgotten and it becomes necessary to take new pictures, each time more dangerous. <\/span>People who act like this will never be truly happy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the moment you stop depending on others to be happy, you become a better person in every sense\u201d, says Cristiane. <\/span>\u201cOf course, not all people will value you, there are always those who live on appearances; <\/span>but for those who have values \u200b\u200band principles that are never demolished by the opinions of third parties, they will always respect you.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
