Palm Sunday

Christ, Crucifixion of Jesus, Easter, entering your life, Jesus, Palm Sunday, peace and victory, Resurrection of Jesus,

What is Palm Sunday?

“And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Hosanna in the highest!” (Matthew 21:8-9)

Seven days before His death and resurrection, Jesus came to Jerusalem. His arrival provided reassurance and freedom for the people of Jerusalem and palm leaves were placed before His feet as a way of praising Him. In biblical times, palm leaves symbolised peace and victory, and this is what God came to give to those who believed in Him.

On Sunday, 25 March, we will acknowledge this special day and you will each receive a palm leaf to take home with you. The palm leaf will represent God Himself and as you bring the leaf into your home, it will also represent God entering your life.

Just as He saved and helped those who were suffering in Jerusalem, He can do the same for you today. You just have to believe.

Join us this Palm Sunday to receive a palm leaf and experience the power of God in your life!
