New home for the Universal Church in Nottingham

Nottingham new home
Sunday, 20 November at 5pm marked a rememberable day for the Universal Church in UK, as we inaugurated our new church building in the city centre of Nottingham. Present were 421 people in attendance from various branches.

Many people were touched by the testimony of a couple that shared how God transformed their lives through the power of their faith and everyone was encouraged to embrace that same opportunity and call upon God to receive His help.

Those who were feeling sad, desperate, or facing a hard moment in any area of their lives were invited to receive a special prayer, there were many that arrived oppressed, in pain and in distress were delivered.

Bishop James shared a message about the difference between living like everyone else and living like a child of God. When we are God’s children we can count on everything that He can offer as a Father. After the prayer of surrender, everyone could also count on the assistance of the Bishop, the Pastors, their wives and assistants who were present and available for one to one’s.

Pastor Rennan and his wife Carla who oversees the church in Nottingham added, “with the opening of our church in this location we will be able to do much more for the community. We have more space to develop our Food Bank and in the near future the opening of a Soup Kitchen. We are in a privileged location where it’s much more visible for people to see and get to know about us. The space is wonderful and most importantly spiritual help is available for all.”

Our newly purchased building offers more accessibility to those with disabilities and the elderly so that they too can take part in our weekly services. We now have a ramp available, giving access to the small auditorium and a lift to the main auditorium, two toilets for people with disabilities and wheelchair users and assistance calling points in different parts of the building.
