Everyone wants to see results from their efforts, especially those who seek God. After all, since God is great, mighty, and strong, it is only right that those who seek and serve Him have a similar life to what He has promised.
But why don’t all see the results of their faith?
Here are two mistakes that prevent a person from seeing results from their faith:
Lack of decision:
A person that is undecided won’t be able to move forward, whereas those who are decided and determined are not swayed by difficult circumstances. It doesn’t matter if there is a crisis or if no one supports them.
Elijah was a biblical example of a person that was decided when he went to King Ahab and later challenge the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18).
Lack of confidence:
Elijah was determined, he had the attitude of faith to face King Ahab and the prophets of Baal. It was a matter of life and death, but he didn’t allow outside circumstances to affect his confidence.
He didn’t accept to hide his faith, after all, he trusted in the God of the supernatural and those who choose to trust in God won’t settle for crumbs in their financial life. There may be struggles, but when you trust in God, you overcome these feelings of doubt. Those who trust are sure of themselves and it’s only a matter of time before they will see the results of their faith.
