A lot can happen in one week. Lessons can be learnt, wrongs can be made right, and lives can change.<\/p>

Jesus proved that a week could bring about a new beginning during the seven days leading up to His death and resurrection, what is more commonly known as Holy Week.<\/p>

Holy Week begins with His entrance into Jerusalem \u2013 the triumphal entry \u2013 on Palm Sunday and is marked thereafter by a series of poignant events that are revered by Christians all over the world.<\/p>

Everything that Jesus did had a purpose, and His aim was always to teach and give people a chance to receive the life that only He could offer. Throughout the Holy Week, He set examples for all of us to learn from and follow.<\/p>

Maybe you have been longing for your life to be different, to be new. You have searched down every avenue but always seem come to a dead end. Why not allow God to do something new in you?<\/p>

Join us at your local UCKG branch for the Holy Week from Sunday, 10 April to Sunday, 17 April<\/strong>. In every meeting throughout the week, we will extract lessons from each event that took place and discover how they can be applied to our own lives to change it for the better.<\/p>

Triumphal entry<\/strong><\/p>

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Holy Week.<\/p>

\u2018The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: Hosanna! \u2018Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!\u2019 The King of Israel!\u2019<\/em> (John 12:12-13)<\/p>

In the same way Jesus entered victoriously into Jerusalem, let\u2019s determine that He will enter triumphantly in your life.

Purification of the Temple<\/strong><\/p>

\u2018Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who sold and bought in the temple and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves.<\/em>\u2019 (Matthew 21:12)<\/p>

Jesus overturned the tables of people who were misusing the Temple. What situation do you have that is unsatisfactory and needs to be overturned in your life?

The Last Supper<\/strong><\/p>

One of the great teaching of Jesus, which contradicted the pride and stubbornness of the religious authorities of the time was humbleness, walking in righteousness and taking care of our neighbours. This lesson Jesus taught well when He washed His disciples\u2019 feet:<\/p>

\u2018If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another\u2019s feet.\u2019<\/em> (John 13.14)<\/p>

\u2018He was wounded for our transgretions, he was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we were healed.\u2019<\/em> (Isaiah 53:5)<\/p>

Though Jesus died to save all, many still are unaware of this truth. We will reach out to those who are still captive so that they may receive true freedom.\u00a0\u2018For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.\u2019<\/em> (1 Peter 3:18)<\/p>
