Warmth Appeal November
The Give Warmth Appeal is a charitable project carried out every year by the Community Outreach arm of the Universal Church. Where our members of the local community donate clean coats and jackets to help keep those less fortunate warm, during the winter months. This initiative is supported by volunteers who contribute their time, making colder months a bit more bearable for those who need it most.

In November last year we worked with the British Red Cross to maximise our donations. In total we collected 1258 coats and jackets, and the charity helped us distribute these across the country. A service manager from the British Red Cross, expressed his gratitude to the Universal Church in an interview and said that the Universal Church had been a great resource by donating so many coats and jackets, he ended by thanking us for our contributions.

Pastor David who oversees the outreach work of the Universal Church said “we were very surprised by the number of coats donated; it most definitely went beyond what we were expecting. That in itself is testament to the wonderful generosity of the members of the church and local community who were more than ready to think about others at this difficult time. We are grateful and excited to know that many will be helped through the donations.”

The Universal Church helps its local communities in a number of different ways, we also run soup kitchens and food banks amongst many other initiatives. Helping people is at the heart of what we do. For further information please call or WhatsApp us on our 24-hour helpline: 020 7686 6000.
