Feast of the First fruits

first fruits, the will of God,

Feast of the First fruits
On Sunday, 3rd July, the Feast of First fruits celebration will take place in all of our Universal Churches.

The Bible states the following: “And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.” (1 Kings 17:13)

The prophet Elijah made a request that, for many, could be considered radical, since this particular widow with her son was starving. But Elijah asked for the first part of the little that she had. However, it was by her act of faith that God was able to reveal His power to her by providing for her household.

When you decide to put God first regardless of your financial situation, just like the widow, you prove your faith in Him and allow Him to supply your needs beyond what you can imagine. Your faithfulness gives you the inner strength you need to conquer what you desire according to the will of God.

When you have a true partnership with God because of your faithfulness – the sky will be the limit!

If you want to see open doors for the remaining months of this year and want your faithfulness to be honoured, join us this Sunday 10am (also at 7.30am) at your local Universal Church, where we will return our first fruits to God.
