Don\u2019t Give Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we enter the final stretch of the Fast of Daniel, some may feel discouraged, lose focus or even consider giving up altogether. Cravings for entertainment or curiosity about what\u2019s happening in the world might be creeping back in. If you find yourself in this situation, here\u2019s a word of encouragement: <strong>\u201cBut as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.\u201d <\/strong>(2 Chronicles 15:7).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The devil knows you\u2019re getting closer to God and will try to attack you with distractions, doubts, fatigue and temptation. It&#8217;s important to lean on your faith instead of your feelings during this moment in time. Remember, discouragement doesn\u2019t mean failure, and those who persevere through resistance experience the greatest breakthroughs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a moment to remind yourself why you began this Fast in the first place. Your goal is still ahead, and it\u2019s worth every effort. So, instead of letting discouragement take hold, refuse to give up and take your feelings to God in prayer. Be honest and believe that He will provide the strength you may be lacking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You might also consider speaking to a friend of faith who is also participating in the Fast. Partner with each other for encouragement, sharing both the challenges you face and the positive experiences you\u2019ve had with God throughout this journey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, visualise yourself emerging stronger, more focused, more connected to the Lord and filled with His Holy Spirit by the end of these 21 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just like a long-distance runner feeling the burn in the final lap, you are closer to your victory than you think. Now\u2019s the time to dig deep, remember your purpose, push harder than ever and finish strong.
