We are now a few days into the Fast of Daniel, and this is a stage where many people begin to lose focus and start giving undue time to other things. As they were together, the Lord Jesus reminded them not to lose focus, to insist on praying together, and believe that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was near. Keep this promise for yourself. If you find yourself wandering from your initial purpose of having the identity of the Holy Spirit, use this moment to refocus and don’t allow anything to distract you.
Spiritual Cleansing – Ambitions
There are certain hopes and ambitions that will glorify God once they are achieved. However, we must ask ourselves if everything we want to achieve in this world is really for the glory of God or our own. We must be honest enough about this in order to stop pursuing ambitions that are only for vanity and do not bring any glory to God.
