Every secound counts
A dramatic rescue caught the world’s attention on June 22nd, during the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Anita Álvarez fainted in the pool shortly after her performance.

American swimmer Anita Alvarez was rescued from the bottom of the pool by her coach at the FINA World Aquatic Championships in Budapest, Hungary, after she lost consciousness.

Coach Andrea Fuentes jumped into the pool after she saw the 25-year-old artistic swimmer sink to the bottom at the end of her routine in the women’s solo free event.

The athlete’s life depended on a quick decision. Fortunately for her, the coach acted promptly. Spiritually speaking, there are also people who are on the brink of losing their soul and need someone to help them, through a word of faith, an invitation to a meeting, a call or a message on social networks.

The Universal Church brings this spiritual rescue to many just like firefighters, police officers, rescuers, save lives daily.

In the work of rescuing someone, time is crucial, seconds can make the difference to save a life. Spiritually it is no different.
