Don’t make this mistake in your financial life

being successful and blessed,

Don't make this mistake in your financial life

Have you been seeking material riches more than spiritual ones?

When you become materially rich but don’t have the Holy Spirit, did you know that you are poor spiritually speaking? Some people trust money to the extent of making it their god, giving them the illusion of being successful and blessed. In some cases, it is much more difficult for the rich to convert and seek God, than for the poor.

Old story

The Bible tells us that on one occasion, Jesus was preaching to a crowd about the Holy Spirit when suddenly a man interrupted Him to talk about money.

“Then one from the crowd said to Him, ‘Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.’ But He said to him, ‘Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?’ And He said to them, ‘Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” (Luke 12:13-15)

This still happens today: the crowds hear about the Holy Spirit, but don’t give Him value. Instead, they think about money, employment, bad news and their worries – they don’t focus on what’s most important. They become blind and spiritually poor.

Jesus warned that man, and He’s warning you too. Your life is not limited to a bank balance, the house you live in, or the clothes you wear. If you die without the salvation of your soul, everything you have does not guarantee you entry into heaven. Furthermore, having the Spirit of God Himself guiding you is priceless because He will lead you into never lacking money again.
