Assured Faith

At His Feet, Blood of Christ, edir macedo, God, Gospel of Matthew, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Resurrection of Jesus,

“Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.” (Luke 12:8,9)

Do you know what the Lord Jesus meant by this? An assured faith is a faith committed to God! Those who possess this Faith confess the Lord Jesus before men, not only with words, but also with their behaviour and quality of life. The sign of an assured faith is having our life on the altar. Job was a great example: “…blameless, upright, God fearing and shuns evil” (Job 1:8).

And the result of this was that the devil recognised it himself. He said to God:“Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.” (Job 1:10)

And even though he went through everything he went through, he still confessed, “I know that my Redeemer lives”(Job 19:25).

I’m sure that those who have their life on the altar rejoice because of this!
