A widow, a prophet, and a miracle!

faithfulness to God, the directions of God,

A widow, a prophet, and a miracle!
Yesterday, at the Rainbow Theatre, hundreds attended the 10am service where they were given the opportunity to use their faith; united together they walked through the replica of Noah’s Ark with their family members and later used their faith to declare good health with the blessing of the consecrated water.

During the service, attendees were invited to present their tithes and offerings in a celebratory manner, whilst dressed in their national clothing representing the Universal spirit of being united as one in the same faith whilst presenting their faithfulness to God.

“Together we are stronger”, Bishop James stated to all no matter your culture or background.

We then moved on to the main message from Luke 4:26:

“but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.”

What was so special about this particular widow? And why did the prophet Elijah visit her?

God sent Elijah to Zarepath (the widow), because God saw that there was a willingness to not only hear the directions of God from the prophet but above all she was willing to obey.  Despite being in a challenging situation financially, she had the faith to give, which meant that she believed she would receive which she did (1 Kings 17:16).

This is what made her stand out! Bishop emphasised that “Everyone was given an equal amount of faith, however there lays the difference: some are willing to act their faith and others aren’t.”

If you want to be part of those who witness God’s miracles in your life then, select yourself by using your faith today.

“According to your faith let it be to you.” (Matthew 9:29)
