Novena of the Rose,
Many people’s lives are marked by fear, uncertainty, doubt and failure. Right now, there are people who are desperate, feeling a deep sadness within and wanting to put an end to it all, because they can no longer see meaning in life. Maybe that’s your case.
What to do to overcome such suffering? Faith and perseverance are essential for anyone who wants to get rid of negativity. That’s why we are taking part in the “Novena of the Rose with the Mark of the Cross” every Friday, until 29 October. It’s an opportunity for you to show your faith and perseverance to God so that he can remove all negative marks from your life and replace them with His mark.
“From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.” (Galatians 6.17)
Bring a rose to your local UCKG to be stamped with the cross. This rose will symbolise the Lord Jesus, as it is written in Song of Songs 2.1, He is the “rose of Sharon.” In the same way that Jesus took upon Himself all curses, we believe that when you take this blessed rose home, all negativity will be removed from your life.
