Youth Spiritual Development meeting An important part of the VYG's work is to provide a familiar place where young people can turn to for practical, moral and ethical advice and guidance. The Spiritual Development meetings concentrate on developing the spiritual lives of young people through practical teaching and advice. It encourages young people to use their faith to achieve their full potential by developing a close and direct relationship with God. VYG Sunday meeting The Sunday meetings are packed with fun activities and competition. The VYG's friendly contest see young people battle it out against each other in various tasks and activities ranging from sports to musical presentations, dramas and much more. The youths are split into groups having their own names, uniforms, chants and banners. Each week they work together in preparation for the respective tasks for the competition on Sunday. We also have the infamous 'Branch versus Branch' competition where the different branches of the VYG compete against each other.
