When I was little, if I remember correctly, I was quite a troublemaker…
I was incredibly creative and always up to something.
I liked to climb trees, play ball with the boys, fly kites, etc. My knees were skinned most of the time from falling too much. I remember that I got hurt a lot, but I also remember the times that I cried in my room after my father spanked me for doing something wrong. He would say, “Sweetheart, daddy didn’t want to do that, but it seems that you don’t listen when I speak…” And how many times does this happen to us even after growing up?
Many times! Our Celestial Father teaches us many things, He exhorts us many times through His Word and servants, but we simply don’t listen.
Many times, His voice seems too soft, but it’s just because the voice of our own will is yelling and impeding us from hearing Him clearly. Today we reap what we sowed yesterday. Tomorrow we will reap what we sow today.
I’ve meditated a lot on this and I asked myself, “What am I sowing today?”
Are they good seeds that will bear good fruits? Have I listened to His voice?
“Dear Father, I want to hear You when You speak! I want to hear Your voice clearly.”
It’s something to meditate upon.
