Is there…? Yes, there is!
When people spend a long time searching for the right partner without success; when they count their failed relationships, watching the time pass as they get older, loneliness takes over and their mind becomes their worst enemy. Their mind starts entertaining thoughts that perhaps there isn’t anybody suitable and that they should just get used to being alone or that they should settle for someone who isn’t what they want. Some even decide to give their attention and love to a pet! I don’t think that there is a suitable person for everyone... I am sure that yes, there is somebody suitable for for everybody who is single at this moment in time. You see, the same God that heals, delivers, prospers, and baptises with the Holy Spirit, also gives to each of His creatures the perfect match so they can enjoy a lifetime of happiness. When God created this world and everything that is in it He “saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.” (Genesis 1.31) Later on He saw that for man to be happy and be a part of everything good He had created, he needed a partner—a perfect match—so “the Lord God said; ‘It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.’” (Genesis 2.18) My faith tells me that in the same way God provided a perfect match for Adam, the first man, God still wants to provide the perfect match for every man after Adam. Now you might ask, “So why haven’t I been able to find my perfect match?” This may be a fair question, but it is the wrong question to ask at this point in time. What you should ask is, “What must I do to find my perfect match?” The answer to this question, as well as the necessary assistance in finding your perfect match, is provided during the Partners 4 life meetings that take place every Saturday at 7pm at the Rainbow Theatre, Finsbury Park — see you there!
