Women and insecurities

The fact that so many women struggle with this is proof that it goes deeper than just psychology, but it is spiritual at root.

If a woman is insecure she:

• Dislikes herself.

• Mistrusts her abilities.

• Is convinced she will be rejected by others.

• Is convinced that she will never find a good husband.

• Is convinced that the husband she has married, regrets choosing her.

• Will not take on new responsibilities or jobs out of fear.

• Is emotionally and mentally blocked from learning new skills (computers, languages, driving etc.)

• Cannot see that others need her kindness.

• Will be extremely shy and fearful of talking to new people,

• Or be overly loud and talkative to hide her fear of rejection.

• Will dress to hide the body she dislikes or will dress provocatively to show off, desperate for any type of attention.

• Will try to please everyone to make them like her.

• Will speak badly of others so she feels better about herself.

• Will spend much time imagining what others might be saying about her.

• Will act as if her imaginations are true and hurt others in the process.

• Will have no motivation to care for her home or physical body.

• Will make her family suffer because she feels bad about herself.

• Will constantly be looking for a crutch to make her happy: food, romance novels, movies, new clothes, surfing the Internet, daydreaming, sleeping, chatting, men, drinking or even drugs.

Her insecurity, left unchecked, hurts not only herself, but hurts everyone around her. She is the perfect and beautiful creation of God turned into a destructive and confusing instrument in the hands of the devil.

The devil has many of these monsters walking on the ea th today, even inside of our own churches.

Now think of how the woman of God with the confidence that He created us to have would be like.

Look over all these statements and reverse them to reflect God’s true woman.
